An ode to a Magnolia

During Covid first, lockdown when you couldn’t go any farther than 2k from your home I started to walk around my area more. I would usually go up the mountains and be among nature and find solice in the peace of being as far from the city as I could however I had to make do with Rathfarnham until the 5k distance could be in place. On my walks I would see so many houses with magnolias in their front garden, (my parents being one of them) I have grown up seeing them every Spring. They put on such an amazing display and this year I decided I would finally give it a go and paint them. Pretty happy with the reults
